Rosanna Chenette, JD

Rosanna Chenette is the Founder and CEO of the Law Offices of Rosanna Chenette, P.C. Rosanna’s passion is helping people navigate the complexities of life and legal planning. After having experienced firsthand through caring for her own mother, she understands this daunting task and how essential it is to have a well thought out estate plan. There are no straightforward lines through life and within the legal maze of estate planning, Rosanna brings compassion and knowledge to help guide you and protect your interests.

Her primary areas of practice are in Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Elder Law, and Medi-Cal Planning. Additionally, Rosanna advises on and creates Special Needs Trusts, Digital Assets, Young Family Estate planning that includes Nominating Guardianship of Children and Trusts for embryo maintenance. She works with blended families as well as business owners. Rosanna provides a thorough and helpful easy-to-use client care plan. Additionally, she offers special estate planning review sessions for those who have gone through divorce.

Rosanna received her B.A. in Philosophy from the California State University, Sacramento and her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. She received Honors at Entrance to McGeorge, and she was the proud recipient of a McGeorge Scholarship. While in law school, Rosanna was honored to attend McGeorge’s Salzburg Study Abroad Program in Austria. During her time in Salzburg, she studied Comparative Law with U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice, Anthony M. Kennedy (Ret).

Rosanna is an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and WealthCounsel, an association of over 4,000 attorneys where ideas and best practices on estate planning are shared. She is also a committed member of the Rotary Club of Novato and the Novato Chamber of Commerce.

In her spare time, Rosanna enjoys volunteering and spending time with her family. She was a board member of the Ross School Foundation and a past President of the Ross Valley Women's League (RVWL) in Marin County, where she has been a member since 2015. RVWL efforts help support Adopt a Family of Marin with a mission and actions that are focused on increasing the stability of individual families, while also helping to prevent the dangerous slide into homelessness.
